Just completed a small edition of prints for John Warwicker of Tomato to be shown at NADiff in Tokyo. The drawings were originally white chalk on black paper and have been printed as an edition of 10.

NEW010

Went down to ACCA for the opening of this years NEW show. A couple of clients who we have done work for were represented this year. Difficult to get a good look at things on opening night, so I will definitely be taking another trip down to get a gander in less hectic circumstances. Congratulations Agatha and Arlo.

Lunch with Mr Lee

Drove down to Aireys Inlet this weekend for a long overdue visit to Rhys’ place. I haven’t been down since helping him move. A fact that Rhys was happy to remind me of. It’s a beautiful part of the world down there, with a stunning coast line. It will be interesting to see what effect all that healthy living and abundance of Australian landscape will have on the next series of paintings Rhys produces for his show at Jan Murphy Gallery later this year. The view of the light house from the balcony is still quite phallic, so I’m guessing it won’t be too great a departure.
