Shortlisted artists for the 2012 prize and exhibition are: Brook Andrew, Richard Bell, Lauren Brincat, Jon Campbell, Eugene Carchesio, Greg Creek, Louise Hearman, Pat Macan, Gabriella Mangano and Silvana Mangano, Simon Perry, Kerrie Poliness, Patrick Pound, Sangeeta Sandrasegar and Christian Thompson.
Shortlisted artists had eight months to complete their work for the $100,000 Basil Sellers Art Prize and exhibition, which opens at the Ian Potter Museum of Art, the University of Melbourne, in August 2012.
